Georgia Leavesley – Year 5 teacher and Art and Design Leader
Georgia has taken on the role of Art and Design leader at Merridale this academic year. She has demonstrated a high level of enthusiasm and commitment to improving the art offer for our children and contributed to our Creativity school improvement focus. Georgia has led our involvement with the Arts Connect Classroom as Studio project, attending a variety of CPD and working alongside an artist in year 5 to promote contemporary arts. Georgia has also led staff CPD and modelled effective gallery visits. Her vision and passion for art inspire both staff and children at Merridale.

Fallings Park Primary School
We are proud to celebrate the fantastic STEM contributions of Mrs Sangha and Miss Whittaker. Mrs Sangha has worked tirelessly to raise the profile of science through creative initiatives, including competitions, school visits, CPD, and enriching workshops with real scientists, while also supporting staff and curriculum planning. Miss Whittaker has inspired pupils through a STEM racing challenge, leading to a Judges’ Choice award at a university event. Both have also supported subject leaders with their PSQM application, showing real dedication to excellence in STEM.
Dovecotes Primary School
We are delighted to celebrate Lizzie Crutchley achieving a Specialist Certificate in SEND. This accomplishment will have a meaningful impact on supporting all learners across our school and further develop our inclusive practice. Congratulations on this fantastic and well-deserved achievement!
