ABOUT TWP SPOTLIGHT

TWP Spotlight serves as a recognition platform that honors the success stories within our Partnership. It highlights staff members who have gone
above and beyond to make a significant impact. These achievements exemplify excellence and create moments of pride that can inspire us all!

Fallings Park Primary School –
Tiny Trees Macmillan Coffee Morning.

The Tiny Trees team led by Mrs White have been raising money for Macmillan Cancer support, to help people living with cancer and their families in the UK. This is a charity close to our hearts at Fallings Park Primary School.
The school and wider community were invited into Tiny Trees to buy all the tasty treats that had been kindly donated to support school. We would like to thank everyone for their donations and especially the Pre-school team who have worked hard to make this event such a great success.

Dovecotes Primary School – Wolverhampton Marathon

A huge congratulations to our Deputy Head, Mrs Jones, and Assistant Head, Mrs Gould, who proudly completed the 10K run at the Wolverhampton Marathon last month!
Both staff members are passionate about promoting mental health and wellbeing through physical activity, which was shown in our school initiatives like Move and Mindfulness sessions, which began at the end of lunchtimes during the Summer Term. These sessions made a positive impact, helping children to reset, refocus, and recharge.
Thank you for being such fantastic role models and showing our pupils that movement isn’t just good for the body—it’s great for the mind too!

Merridale Primary School – STEM Grant Success!

We are pleased and proud that our Year 6 teacher and Computing lead, Irum Altaf, has secured a £10k STEM grant for our school to help us develop our computing and technology offer, allowing us to purchase more pupil laptops and computing equipment. Irum worked hard to put the bid together and we are thrilled that it was granted. This will make such a massive difference to our children and computing teaching. Bantock Primary School – Visit to Uganda

Two courageous teachers from Bantock Miss Kambo and Mrs Pickford as well as the Partnership’s CEO Mrs Sarai recently had a memorable experience when they travelled to Uganda during half term as part of Bantock’s partnership with the charity Edukid. Whilst there they had the opportunity to teach in a school, attended by “Emi”. Children at Bantock raise money each year which funds Emi’s schooling, removing the barrier to education faced by children living in poverty and conflict. Staff at Bantock also donated much needed items that will hopefully make a small, but important difference to the lives of the children there.
